Instructions

  1. Saute onion in butter. Add flour, milk, salt, celery seed, mustard, and pepper.
  2. In greased 2 quart casserole, layer carrots and cheese slices. Pour sauce over top. Cover with potato chips. Bake 350F for 1/2 hour

Notes

This is Grandma Leota Snitker’s recipe. I loved carrots this way growing up although I don’t remember the potato chip topping. My kids preferred raw, roasted, or simply steamed carrots.
