Chinese Salad
Ingredients
- 1 large Napa cabbage
- 5 whole green onions
- 2 packages Ramen noodles
- 3 ounce rectangles
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup silvered almonds
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 clove garlic
Instructions
- Wash and cut up vegetables. Drain well and refrigerate.
- Break up Ramen noodles. Mix with sesame seeds and almonds.
- Melt butter on cookie sheet in 300F oven. Sprinkle noodle-seed-nut mixture over melted butter on cookie sheet. Bake until mixture is slightly browned, stirring occasionally.
- Cool mixture and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
- For dressings, mix remaining ingredients together and chill.
- Ten minutes prior to serving, toss together vegetables, noodle mix, and dressing.
