Freezer Slaw
Ingredients
- 2 pounds cabbage
- 1 large green pepper
- 3 medium carrots
- 3/4 cup onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Combine sugar, dry mustard, celery seed, vinegar, and water. Bring to boil and boil three minutes. Let cool.
- Shred vegetables and sprinkle with salt. Let santd for one hour. Drain.
- Ladel sauce over cabbage mixture and let stand five minutes. Pack slaw into freezer containers and freeze.
