Maple Syrup Lemonade
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- About half of a large lemon.
- 2 Tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 pinch ground cayenne
- A pinch is about 1/10th teaspoon

- Mix all together and drink.

Recipe from Diane. She likes it at room temperature, but you could chill it. She usually doubles the recipe, using the whole lemon and filling her thermos. It supposedly has all the nutrients your body needs.
This is a detox lemonade used in a 10 day master cleanse, but Diane really likes the flavor and it is more nutritious than sugar-sweetened lemonade, especially if you use grade B maple syrup. The cayenne doesn’t make it hot, just gives it a bit of zing. You can adjust the amount or omit it entirely if you prefer.
