Rice Krispie Bars
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons margarine
- 3 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
- or 25 large marshmallows
- 5 cup crisped rice cereal
Instructions
- Grease an 8x8x2 inch pan.
- Place margarine and marshmallows in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave uncovered on High 90 seconds or until mixture is melted. Stir smooth.
- Stir in cereal until well coated. Press mixture evenly into greased pan using the buttered back of a large spoon.
- Cool completely. Cut into squares.
Notes
This is an ideal sweet treat loved by even some of the most stringent diets.
