Taco Dip
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 12-16 ounces salsa
- 6-8 ounces taco sauce
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- More or less, to your preference.
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- More or less, to your preference.
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Use the kind and the amount of your preference.
- 1/4 cup sliced jarred jalapenos and/or black olives
- More or less, to your preference.
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Mix in salsa and taco sauce.
- Spread mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish or serving tray.
- Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, black olives, and jalapenos (or your favorite toppings). Refrigerate a couple hours before serving with your choice of tortilla chips.
Notes
Robin recommends mixing additional diced tomatoes into the base and spooning some extra salsa on top before serving. Sandi adds the black olives for her hubby.
