Vodka Slush
Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
- 12 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1 1/2 cups vodka
- 1 teaspoon instant tea powder
- Or a half cup of strong brewed tea.
Instructions
- Stir together and freeze. A gallon ice cream bucket works well as the container.
- To serve, loosely fill a glass with slush, then fill with your preferred citrus soda.
Notes
After a long day of baling hay we enjoyed this tasty treat. We’d line the glasses up on the table, Dad would add the slush, and we’d pour on the soda. The youngest would get a spoonful of slush in mostly soda with the ratio of slush being greater the older you got. Dad’s seemed more like a glass of slush with a splash of Squirt(R).
